About Us

The Texas Boys Choir, led by S. Bryan Priddy,  was founded in 1946 by George Bragg to provide any boy, regardless of socio-economic or ethnic background a structured environment for the development of a world-class performing choir of boys. Essential to this development is the artistic training in an accredited academic institution; experienced teachers instill the qualities of self-discipline, self-confidence, decorum, patriotism, and leadership.

Texas Boys Choir Concludes a Great Year of Music Making

The Texas Boys Choir had an extraordinary 2009-2010 year.   Through some 40 appearances as guest artists on prestigious concert series and performances at weddings, conventions, workshops and community events, the TBC made a concerted effort to reconnect with many of our friends in Texas.  Following are some of the highlights of this past year:

·      National Winner in the 2009 National Choral Honors Project

·      Trebles of the TBC features as guest artists on the subscription concert series for the Dallas Wind Symphony, performing Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” at the Meyerson Symphony Center, Dallas, Texas
